"Preserving the soul of Nepal, one heritage site at a time. We believe culture is not just about the past—it's about ensuring our children know where they come from, and our grandchildren can still touch the stones their ancestors carved."

Born from the Rubble

In the aftermath of the devastating 2015 earthquake that shook Nepal to its core, Kushma Art Project emerged from the heart of Kushma city in Gandaki Province. What began as a desperate effort to salvage crumbling heritage has grown into a movement dedicated to preserving the very soul of Nepali culture.

Founded by RK Adipta Giri and a passionate team of locals, we specialize in restoring traditional architecture, promoting Nepali artists, organizing cultural events, and engaging communities in heritage conservation. Every brick we lay, every wall we restore, tells a story of resilience and reverence.

Our work goes beyond mere restoration. We're rebuilding connections—between generations, between communities, between the past and the future. Through Kushma Art Project, we ensure that the wisdom carved into ancient stones continues to speak to those willing to listen.

Shatabdi Ghar

शताब्दी घर

300 Years of Heritage, Reborn

Standing proudly in Siwalaya Chowk, Kushma, the Shatabdi Ghar is a testament to Nepal's rich architectural heritage. This 300-year-old traditional house, once on the brink of collapse, has been meticulously restored by the Kushma Art Project team.

Today, it serves as both a living museum and our headquarters—a space where history breathes, where cultural events come alive, and where visitors can touch the very walls that witnessed centuries of Nepali life.

Voices of Heritage

Local resident

Walking into Shatabdi Ghar is like stepping back in time. The Kushma Art Project hasn't just restored a building—they've revived the spirit of our ancestors. My grandchildren can now see what I only heard stories about.

Tourist visitor

I've traveled across Nepal, but Shatabdi Ghar is unlike any heritage site I've visited. You can feel the love and dedication that went into every restored corner. This is what cultural preservation should look like.

Young volunteer

Being part of the restoration work changed my perspective on our culture. Before, heritage was something in textbooks. Now, it's something I've touched with my own hands. Thank you, Kushma Art Project.
